Rachel Moore’s photographs are the result of many years of work in and around the world’s oceans. By spending a large part of her life beneath the surface, she documents the animals, environments, and relationships that make up the ocean’s complex ecosystems. Her images are created through patience, presence, and respect for the natural conditions of the sea, with the animals always at the center of the story.

Through her photography, Rachel portrays the ocean as a living, interconnected system in which every species plays an important role. Through intimate, unstaged encounters, she offers us a glimpse into a world that most people never have the opportunity to experience up close. Her work is not only about revealing the beauty of the ocean, but also about deepening our understanding of its importance and its vulnerability.

As a photographer, Rachel sees her role as building a bridge between people and the life that exists beneath the waves. Through her images, she gives a voice to the ocean’s inhabitants and reminds us that the sea is not an infinite resource to be taken for granted, but an ecosystem that requires care, respect, and understanding. This exhibition invites visitors to see the ocean from the perspective of its wildlife and to experience these environments on nature’s own terms—with care, humility, and a sense of responsibility toward future generations.

Born and raised by the sea, Rachel’s childhood dream of becoming a diver ignited at age seven. At 15 years old, after saving up from her first job, she funded her Open-Water dive certification, eventually studying to get her PADI Divemasters. Following her passion for the ocean, she studied marine biology and earned the title of the youngest National Park Service certified Blue Card Diver. There, she contributed her skills to Channel Islands National Park's research program and an underwater television program for four seasons before an unexpected turn led her into a successful modeling career.

Despite the shift in her professional journey, her unwavering love for the sea endured. Years later, she made the bold decision to leave her lucrative city career behind to sail the world, dedicating her time to her passion for photography. Now, as an award-winning photographer and ambassador for Sony, Insta360, PADI, and Only One, she strives to inspire others to protect our planet and oceans through the imagery she captures on her global voyage.
